Meet your Post Partum Support Person.

Providing in-home care for families in the Thibodaux, Louisiana area.

Will I Need Support After Baby is Home?

Many parents are focused on the excitement of pregnancy, birth and the arrival of their baby that they sometimes don't consider what happens once baby is home. I've been there, too. Becoming a parent is this life-altering thing that one can rarely be truly prepared for it.

Have you heard of the Fourth Trimester? This is what begins once birth is done and life as a parent begins.

Positive Results of Competent Care

Having the right care during your post partum period has so many benefits. Some of them are:

  • Reduced anxiety
  • Improved postpartum mental health
  • Boosted self-esteem
  • Increased confidence
  • Family bonding and support for partners and siblings
  • Comfort and reassurance
  • More positive long-term memories
  • Greater satisfaction with the overall birth and postpartum experience

Benefits of Specialized Care

Kelly has been trained specifically to support you through this moment. With a deep knowledge of family systems and a wealth of experience working in professional settings with them, Kelly's passion for being with families at this junction of their lives has led her here.

You will receive the benefit of Kelly's years of training and experience working with families and individuals in a therapeutic setting. Her fresh focus on the family's transition to parenthood and a deep passion for newborn babies and supporting new parents will be evident in the care provided to you and your family.

Feeding Support

One of the most important things we do as parents is feed our babies. We will guide you in making sure all is well and seek additional support if any unforeseen issues arise.

Emotional Support

Sometimes a listening ear makes all the difference. We genuinely want to hear about your pregnancy and birth experiences and help you process any thoughts and feelings you have lingering.

Educate

One of the most important things we do is educate. We want you to know all the things we know so that you feel confident and secure in your parenting.

Soothing

We have the magic touch for soothing babies. We will show you how. Swaddling, babywearing, and other soothing techniques will become part of your parenting repertoire.

Light Housekeeping

Our goal is to help you focus on taking care of self & baby. Let us pitch in so you can do the important things.

Meal Prep

You must be taken care of in order to care for others. We will help with meal prep, light cooking, cleanup, and grocery prep as needed.

Supporting Whole Family

In this time of transition to new status quo, you can really benefit from having a neutral presence to provide feedback and support to all members of your family system.

Sibling Help

Integrating siblings is a very important facet of the fourth trimester. Let us give you a hand with doing so gently and joyfully.

Night Time Support

Lucky for you, we work nights! Let's plan for some night visits so you can rest while baby is in trusted care. We look forward to being there for you.

    • Honest relationships are to be who you are without fear of judgment. This is of utmost importance.
    • Acceptance of you, where you are, without judgment. We aim to have honest discussions with kindness.
    • Growth is what happens as a result of the process.
